WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
We’re looking for a highly experienced accounting professional who can oversee financial operations, ensure reporting accuracy, and bring structure and discipline to complex client environments. As an Accounting Manager at Accounting Frontier, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financials, guiding the accounting team, and supporting clients with higher-level financial oversight.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical accounting expertise with leadership and operational thinking. You should be comfortable reviewing work at a high level, identifying risks, improving systems, and ensuring financial outputs are both accurate and meaningful for decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee month-end close for multiple clients
- Review statements and reconciliations for accuracy
- Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance
- Identify risks, discrepancies, and process gaps
- Maintain internal controls and accounting standards
- Guide and support accounting team
- Serve as a key escalation point
- Improve workflow, system, and reporting structures
- Provide high-level financial insight to support clients
REQUIREMENTS
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Expertise in reporting, controls, and close processes
- Experience reviewing/overseeing accounting work
- Advanced proficiency in systems and Excel
- Background in internal controls & risk management
- Experience managing multiple clients or entities
- Communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
