Accounting Frontier sets a monthly retainer based on the information received at the beginning of the engagement. The goal is to keep the cost near that retainer, but actual hours are tracked against that retainer. Analytics & CFO services are billed separately.
Once all of our systems are implemented, our team will get into a rhythm with you and your team. The amount of time you need to spend each week will go down. We will always need some involvement from you, but it will get much smoother as we go.

You will be assigned an accountant and a manager. These individuals will be your primary point of contact and also help with all of your daily accounting needs.
The onboarding phase is the most time-intensive process for both you and us. We recommend budgeting 5 - 8 hours per week for the first two months to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Onboarding is billed hourly and tends to be 2 or 3 times the agreed upon monthly retainer amount.
We use a variety of cloud-based, accounting applications to collect data digitally. We also use other platforms to streamline the open item process.
No, our contracts are month-to-month. We do ask new clients to give us 6 months before making a change as it takes time to see the results of the new processes we will implement.
We will need access to your current accounting software as well as online access (read-only) to your bank and credit card accounts.
